St Augustine’s, Napier

St Augustine’s is situated in the midst of Southern Napier's very class-diverse suburbs of Marewa, Maraenui, Pirimai, Onekawa, Napier South and Te Awa. It operates and worships on Sundays from St Augustine’s on the Riverbend Road and Latham Street crossroad: as well as worshiping on Thursdays at St Luke’s, Vigor Brown Street.

A compact, quieter and middle-of-the-road Anglican parish, visitors to St Augustine's nonetheless always find in us a warmth and care and deep faith in Jesus.

Thursdays, 10:00am, St Lukes, Vigor Brown Street.
Our 9.30am Sunday and 10.00am Thursday services are both accompanied by fine keyboardists, uplifting hymns and singing groups. A youth singing group occasionally also accompanies 9:30am Sunday sevice.

Bible Study:
Mondays, 1:30pm, St Lukes Vigor Brown Street.
Kids' Time for children runs during 9:30am Sunday service in school term time.

St Augustine people offer resources and volunteer hours to the Napier Foodbank, ecumenical Christian Lovelink (ie: household goods bank) and ecumenical Prison Fellowship.

Our 9:30am to 11.30am Tuesdays and Thursdays OP Shop is full of bargains.

We also enjoy occassional fellowship meals, the full compliment of Lent, Easter and Christmas servces: and an always substantial christmas pagent with our children!
