Taradale: All Saints & St Thomas

With a vibrant worshipping community, All Saints is one of the biggest, most active and growing parishes in the region of Hawke's Bay. It has strong lay leadership and an evangelistic outlook, focusing on families and young people. The parish is currently undertaking a major hall redevelopment project which includes: a new Children and Family Centre (for community use); foyer area; dedicated youth room and carpeted lounge; a commercial kitchen and upgraded amenities block, and; multi-function staging, sound system and audio visual link.

Worship:
Sunday - 8am: NZPB with hymns.
10am: Innovative and diverse, from traditional to modern and
informal.
6.30pm: Contemporary style service which is informal and relationally based.
Traditional evensong on 5th Sundays: 4pm in winter, 5pm in summer.
St Thomas, Meeanee: 1st and 3rd Sundays, 11.15am: traditional Communion.
Wed - 10am Said Communion with anointing for healing.

Social: Morning tea after Sunday 10am service weekly and fortnightly after 8am; shared meals, DVD and pub nights; sport; 'playgroup' for older men who maintain church.

Training: Bible study groups; Lenten studies; lay ministry encourage; Network; EFM.

Outreach: Services in rest-homes; Christian Lovelink; foodbank; Chat & Craft drop-in mornings; Mainly Music; AAW; hospital chaplaincy assistance.

Highlights: Parish fair; Lenten studies; building project for greater community use.
