Parish of Edgecumbe-Kawerau

Edgecumbe-Kawerau is a Local Shared Ministry parish with two worship centres in two different communities, Kawerau and the more rural Edgecumbe (this church is now only used once a month by Tikanga Māori).  St Margaret’s is located at 1 Newall Street Kawerau; All Saints is at 73 Main Street Edgecumbe. The parish was formed when the Tasman Pulp and Paper industry was being developed in Kawerau and has adapted to the changing face of the town and industry and remains committed to the community.  An enthusiastic team tries to provide creative worship alongside more traditional use of the NZ Prayer Book.  The parish has developing links with Tikanga Maori, ecumenically and with the wider community.
